Educating the next generation
During the early part of the 19th Century, the New York City Board of Education taught the children the basic principles of gardening. This tradition has been lost and the museum will be essential in helping this generation gain the knowledge that was lost. We want them to explore floral arts and gardening.
The museum wants to provide the opportunity to be in such a central location in NYC. Students can access the after-school programs in the museum to help nurture their imaginations and help them build skills to help NY become a more integrated farming community
