Zen Astrud is a multidisciplinary artist and floral designer from Brooklyn, New York. They earned a bachelor’s in photography from Parsons The New School in 2017. Since then they have grown to understand their passion for spreading love as flowers in communities and how important that is as a queer Black and Filipinx artist— now and always as a reflection of the times. A wise woman once said that freedom is just a feeling. The smallest dose of love through flowers grows from one heart to another and from micro to macro, this is an ideology of resistance and love supremacy. In 2020 they founded Studio Mariposa and remain the Creative Director servicing the Greater New York area.
